Today we’d like to introduce you to Howard Greer aka YP Hoodrich.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I started rapping while I was in high school, where I had the opportunity to take acting classes! I wasn’t taking rapping serious until homeboy Trey Took me to the studio! That’s when I gained passion rapping!
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Life! Memphis! Being from the bottom “Walker Homes”! Getting shot twice on two different occasions! Being blessed overall!
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I’m able to create my own sounds! I’m a storyteller, I’m an entertainer! There is no competition! I stay in my own line! I’m willing to work with whoever getting to the bag! My new release is called “Mad Man Journal” it is a Journal of my life! Things that actually happen! Expressing myself! It released 02/10/2022
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
My advice is do what’s best for you! Don’t be a follower the next person can or may cause you not really know where the road is leaning them! That’s why I say “Stay in your own lane” surround yourself around people that push and motivate you!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
“Success” that means achievement in my highest goals! Succeeding in the music industry as well as life. Generational wealth for my daughter!
