Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael W Allison.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Michael Allison, the founder of Groomed and Tailored and a public speaker. Truly from humble beginnings, where he was born in St. Catharine, Jamaica and raised in Miami, FL. He saw how his parents migrated from Jamaica by way of New York City to Miami, FL. He saw through their hard work how they persevered through many obstacles they faced. The biggest thing that his parents wanted for him and his siblings was to achieve a high level of education and make something of themselves. They are so proud!
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Michael’s success has come through his faith. Believing in himself and a strong support system. He faced many challenges such as overcoming the barriers of coming to America as an immigrant and entering the public school system, overcoming personal challenges while in the Boy Scouts, overcoming several childhood traumas, overcoming high school football injuries, overcoming the OEF/OIF war in Iraq while in the US Marine Corps, experiencing multiple divorces, being a single father and mental health. Through all those experiences, Michael feel’s having a strong foundation will keep you grounded, which has helped him overcome several challenges along the way.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
As the founder of Groomed & Tailored, the company specialize in providing a concierge all-inclusive mobile grooming service for the grooms on their wedding day. They look forward to pampering grooms on their wedding day, just before they say “I Do”.
Additionally, Michael prides himself on being a leader with a lot of real-life experience. He loves to meet with people, understand their story, share his story with encouragement and let them know that there is so much more to life.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Success for Michael, is fulfilling his purpose in life, which is to inspire, encourage, give back and living life on his own terms.

Success for Michael is a sense of accomplishment and purpose.
