Today we’d like to introduce you to Lori Bruton.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Hello. Thank you. It’s great to be here. It really is because I almost was not here to tell my story. I decided to be brave and courageous to share my message of how I almost gave up and died but then decided to rise up and live the life I was born to live. I went from having no hope to being called the Queen of Hope. Now, I see and embrace my purpose. I choose life. I choose to help others overcome and get the most out of life. That’s why I wrote The LORI Factor: Live the Life You Were Born to Live. I had to keep believing I could do whatever I put my mind to. When I didn’t have enough belief in myself, I borrowed other people’s belief in me. Persistence and determination are key factors. It was essential to rest and take a breath now and then, but then keep going one step at a time. I continue to create value and have fun doing it.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

You got that right. Success is definitely a journey. You’ve got to fight for what you want. Otherwise, you live life by default instead of by design. The biggest challenge I had was belief in myself. Mindset is key. It’s easy to let our own thoughts and the opinions of others influence us. I learned not to let other people’s opinions or judgements become my reality. There were many times I wanted to give up and keep my book incomplete on the shelf. Then I realized I wasn’t writing it just for me. People who needed to hear my story are waiting, even if they don’t know it yet. Another challenge was finding a way to generate the funds for expenses. Looking for how to create ways and connecting with people who have gone before me presented solutions to keep going and get it done. I am glad I pushed through every obstacle and challenge.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am an author, storyteller, speaker, and coach who specializes in creating content and making connections. I help you get unstuck, transform your life, and live your dreams. I give inspiration and encouragement to you who feel hopeless, brokenhearted, unloved and unsure of your purpose with tools, resources, and experiences that I share. When you connect with me you will walk away with a larger vision and deeper love for yourself. Expect to discover clarity and passion about creating the life you really want. You will uncover the greatness inside you and know what you want is possible. I know because I’ve lived it.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

The LORI Factor was inspired by Les Brown. He wrote the Foreword for my book. My best advice is learn to live by The LORI Factor. L is get a LARGER vision of yourself beyond your circumstances. O is for OPTIMISM; have an optimistic spirit knowing it is possible that you can change your life. R is REINVENT yourself. Make a radical change in your life. I is INVEST in yourself. Bet on you. You are an asset to this world. Words are powerful. Speak words of life and success over yourself. Picture the life you want, believe it’s possible, and take three action steps daily. Add it all together and it equals success.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success is fulfilling the purpose that was put in you by your Creator. Success isn’t just about having an abundance of money. It’s achieving balance in the key areas of your life. Success is having faith, wellness, purpose, and abundance and experiencing fun, freedom, and fulfillment. It’s knowing your true identity and also leaving a legacy while loving and helping others along the way. It’s best to surround yourself with good mentors and coaches. Continue to work on personal development as well. It’s accomplishing goals and dreams. We are not meant to do life alone. We need each other to have true success, whatever that looks like for you. What I just described are the essentials of success in my book. Writing books are part of my success. I have always enjoyed writing and still do. I am thankful for many divine connections that have produced success for myself and others.

What’s next for you?

For years I have had the desire to write children’s books. I have a heart for the young ones. I have already drafted some children’s books that will soon be published. Also, helping people of all ages with health and wellness naturally. Teaching and educating people with writing, speaking, classes, courses, and resources so they can experience life in the best way. My travel experiences have been highlights in my life. I would like to do more traveling and write about that as well. Anyone needing a guest for their podcast or want to know more about my classes, please let me know.
