Today we’d like to introduce you to Hasan Farooqui.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Before real estate, I attended McMaster University for my undergraduate education and was a resident doctor at the hospital. Most would say that my career path is unique and frankly, I think it’s served me well as my experiences shape me. I launched my real estate career by joining my family’s construction business initially and found a passion in helping people. Throughout my years and success in entrepreneurship, I’ve also implored business coaching in which I dedicate my time and efforts in educating other businesses with my expertise that I’ve developed through my own business and experiences.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

As an entrepreneur you face many struggles daily. Sometimes you’re on top of the world and other times, things are not as well. I think the most important thing is to determine your values and hold your self to them. Earlier on, I had to establish myself in one of Canada’s most difficult real estate markets, where there are thousands of agents. I found that the competition was there, however not everyone fulfilled upon their promises. I set upon a mission to change that through my unique home buying and selling system that took me years of development to crack.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I’ve developed a methodology to sell real estate which changes the way real estate is currently marketed and sold. I’ve embraced this systematic approach and trademarked it so I can transfer this value to my clients. In my unique program, my core tenet is I guarantee satisfaction and success to all my clients. My work ethic revolves around two words which are “Accountability and Loyalty”. If I fail to deliver upon these, I have not done my job. The fundamental guarantee behind what makes this program so special is that if I cannot sell my client’s home at a time and price they agree to, I will stay with that one client until it sells. On top of that, if the house cannot be sold at all, I will buy it himself at a price that is agreed upon mutually. Many real estate agents are not confident in their service so they can’t offer such a guarantee however my goal from day 1 has always been to serve my clients at the highest level and this guarantee aligned best with my goal.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My greatest piece of advice for those who desire success in their life is simply to understand that the process is not supposed to be easy. It takes many years of sacrifice, education and experiences for someone to be viewed as an “overnight success”. It’s important that we expand our time horizon to achieving our goals.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

In my view, success has many different definitions and depending on where we are in life…our goals and ambitions change. Hence our view of success changes. The one thing that’s served me well is to always chase your passion and choose a vehicle/ method that aligns with that passion. In my case, my passion is helping others and my vehicle has been real estate. This way, my occupation has never felt like a “job”. I wake up everyday and enjoy what I do and I believe that is most important.

What’s next for you?

My plans are to expand the Farooqui team so we can serve more families in the province of Ontario. Our unique system has changed the lives of dozens and dozens of families and my job is to replicate this to have a bigger impact. Our motivator isn’t money or commissions but rather impact.
