Today we’d like to introduce you to Nia Nubin.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Hi, I am Nia Nubin. Also known as Nia esthetics. I started my spa in 2019 as Nia Lash performing lash services. After attending Georgia Career Institute and graduating as an esthetician I gained the love of body waxing with sugar and hard wax. Once I found my niche I decided to redirect my career 100% into the waxing business.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I’ve overcame so many challenges during my career. One particular event that has definitely made a difference in my life is when I had to shut down during the pandemic. I lost everything my home, my business, and even my mind. I didn’t let that stop me. So I decided to work a part time job during the Christmas season which allowed me to save up some funds. With my savings and tax refund I was able to start Nia Esthetics in July of 2021. Starting from the ground up, having to rebuild my clientele, relocating my salon from one side of town to another has not stopped me from my ultimate goal. The challenges that I have faced has made me the business woman that I am today.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am a License Esthetician specializing in Brazilian Waxes & Vajacials. For those who don’t know what a Vajacial is it is a facial procedure for your Yoni area. This service is used to maintain really smooth and hydrated skin while brightening and removing ingrown hairs. My clients prefer me over the competition due to the amazing client interaction experience I deliver at Nia Estetics. My clients feel that they have a safe space when getting serviced by me.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
My best piece of advice for the readers who desire a successful life is to never give up. You could be one day away from your yes. One day away from your million dollars. Aways be the best version of yourself and keep going because success does not happen overnight. All of your hard work will pay off as you continue to strive. Planting a seed in the ground today will not give you a full grown Rose tomorrow. Remember your seed needs to be watered, nurtured, and it needs the correct energy for it to blossom. Success takes time if you put in the work.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success Noun : the accomplishments of an aim or purpose. Success to me starts with my relationship with God. I am blessed to get up everyday and to be able to check goals off my to do list and turn them into accomplishments that may be big or small. That is success to me. When I am blessed with the opportunity of booking new clients that is success to me. Me being passionate and doing everything that I love with joy is success to me. Being blessed to do whatever I desire is success to me. I am grateful that I have reached a new level of being successful!
What’s next for you?
There are so many big things coming up! While still providing services in Atlanta Nia Esthetics will be expanding to Macon Georgia providing lavish spa services. I’m so excited about the many great things that we’re going to be bringing to the area such as job opportunities and trainings.
