Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Chima.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
My musical career started when I was at the age 2 as a younger choirmaster at my church. From there I began developing my skillset in music; from singing opera, playing music instruments to collaborating with musical producers in producing, singing and performing afrobeats.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Life has its own challenges and sometime these are stages where our will and faith is tested. My overcoming some of these challenges made me a better version of myself, because at the end of the day, we’re not known for what we did only, but also for what it made us become.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I’m a singer, performer and entrepreneur. Actually my new EP “For4” is set to drop in about 2 weeks (10-22-2021). “For 4” charts the life of an outcast and a misfit who finally made it; found wealth and love. Featuring lush production and a full lo-fi section, it is my most accomplished EP to date. I wanted to do an EP anyone can pickup and be entertained, inspired and educated. Coming from a place where people regard you as an outcast or a misfit, it does take a lot of courage and bravery to dare to be different.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Mindset is everything. Mindset is everything! When you find something you wish to accomplish, you owe it to yourself to work on your mindset in order to accomplish that dream or goal. If your mind is not strong enough, it’ll come back and sabotage your plan. So work on your mindset.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success to me is accomplishing little tasks and putting in your best.
What’s next for you?
I’m working on the release of my new EP “For4” which is set to drop on all streaming platforms come October 22, 2021. I hope to make an impact in the Music industry and also focus on my business.
