Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Williams.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Tiffany Williams. I am mother to 2 wonderful kids and 1 fury pet baby. I own one of the leading spa’s and wellness businesses in the Bay Area, located in California called Glam City. Glam City is a spa that specializes in microblading, non-invasive body sculpting, eyelashes and yoni v-steams. We also offer trainings on teeth whitening, tooth gems, body sculpting and microblading. I began microblading in 2016 after doing my research on microblading and discovering a clear void in the industry specifically in my surrounding area. Knowing that microblading was a very popular niche service I was intrigued to learn more and begin training. After training I became passionate about perfecting my technique as a microblading artist and quickly established my first permanent makeup business known as Microblading by Tiffany. Over time I continued to get certified in new services to grow the business which was the inspiration for the business name change from Microblading by Tiffany to Glam City. It was important that the new business name reflect the new path of the business and services offered.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Challenges are par for the course as a business owner and I have been no exception to that rule. Working a full time job and operating a part time business can be exhausting yet the work never stops so you have to keep pushing. Learning how to scale and automate many daily business tasks to free up time for other priorities. The struggles of learning how to establish business credit and handling book-keeping combined with trying to balance work life and family life. The list is never ending but the rewards from remaining relentless can be everlasting!
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
We specialize in eyebrow microblading and potential clients of Glam City should know we are openly transparent about our industry leading safety standards. We take pride in giving customers what they want and also what looks good on “them” because everyone has their own version of Glam! Glam City other specialties include yoni v steaming, lashes and non-invasive body contouring.
Someone would choose us over our competition because of our knowledge and expertise we offer combined with the quality and energy we give. Our energy is a VIBE at the Glam City Tribe!
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Be true to who you are but also be TRUE to who you aspire to become! Try making a vision board or a checklist of the goals you would like to accomplish. If you hit roadblocks on your path to success, it’s OK keep going. Never quit! You got this!!!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Being successful at small things consistently with the daily aspirations of the bigger goals ahead. Overall success to me is having financial freedom, as well as mental, emotional and physical balance within all areas of my life.
What’s next for you?
To vertically expand my Glam City brand on the West Coast and the rest of the nation. To continue to offer business coaching and knowledge to others while growing as an individual and business owner.
