Today we’d like to introduce you to Askia Fountain.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Askia Fountain is the Executive Producer of the Afro Unicorn™ Holiday EP, bringing together a prolific team of producers, singers, and songwriters. Fountain is best known for being an integral part of the A&R team that developed the 2019 Grammy-nominated album “Victory Lap” by Nipsey Hussle. He has helped foster the careers of artists from Nas, Neyo, and Dreamdoll. The EP was distributed with Connect Music An urban company Co Founded by Askia that funds nurtures urban music.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
My challenges has been pivoting from Entertainment to Learning retails & brand managing one if the hottest urban brands in Major Big Box Retail (Walmart/Target) Afro Unicorn. Afro Unicorn™ is a fully licensed character celebrating representation. Founded by visionary entrepreneur and CEO April Showers, Afro Unicorn™ is a conscious brand with the mission to positively uplift and impact women and children of color. Afro Unicorn™ is a powerful representation of the beauty and uniqueness of vanilla, caramel, and mocha complexions. I Specialize in Artist management, Publishing, A&R & Brand management. Some one should work with me for my vast knowledge off information & relationships in multiple industries.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
My best advice is for people to find something they are passionate about & find a way to execute their vision.

Success to me means to me build businesses, taking care of family and friends while working towards helping others.
