Today we’d like to introduce you to YK Major.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Entertaining started as a hobby and then became something bigger once I allowed myself to understand both the fun side and the business side of things. I’ve been inspire more by the r&b music so I like to mix the 2. Acting is something I’m super passionate about as well. I started off modeling and acting under the company Barbizon and am now currently acting and modeling with NYMMG.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Just bring smart about who you allow into your circle and who you allow to know the real you because everyone has an agenda Good or bad and you have to make sure it doesn’t end up negatively impacting what you have going on for yourself.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I’m more of a triple threat so I specialize in making music, performing, acting, modeling, and a bit of photography. I think my work often times speaks for itself. I’m very different from what most could consider normal. You have to have a special kind of personality to rock with me. I don’t doubt for a second you wouldn’t. I’m mad chill pretty fun to be around. I got mad energy! Like I said you’ve gotta see for yourself !
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Make sure that when you feel like you’re at your worse with whatever your passion is, know that in that moment that is when you’re inches away from grasping it. It kind of tests you to see if that’s what you really want. Don’t break. Keep believing that you are who you’ve always said you are and fight for your dreams. Everyone including your family will tell you that you cant do it. Fight to prove everybody wrong.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success means comfort. Success means knowing in your mind body and soul that you are at a place in your life where you feel as though you are not relying on something or someone to fill this void. When you are at a point where you don’t feel like you have to prove yourself to anybody because you know who you are what you’re capable of and how many people around you are looking to you or knowledge and wisdom.

Promoting my newest single at the moment called “MELO” go stream on all platforms keep running it up! And this upcoming Valentine’s Day I have a new single coming out stay tuned for that????
