Today we’d like to introduce you to Marquez King.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Marquez King and I’m a Real Estate Wholesale Investor , Credit Specialist , and father of one. After graduating high school in 2016 I spent many years investing my time into pointless activities that were only setting me back as the days went by. I was homeless for a few months living out of my car until a friend of mine invited me over to check up on me after not seeing me for a long time & gave me a opportunity to learn and assist him in Credit Repair. From 2019-2022 I’ve spent majority of my time educating family and friends of all ages about their credit and what they can do to recover from debt and setbacks they had throughout the years. In June of 2022 I decided to turn my focus to Real Estate which was something I always wanted to do but kept procrastinating, probably was the best decision of my life cause life is great and I’m blessed with the opportunity to help many across the country.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
One of my main problems I’ve had is motivation & consistency a lot of times I’ll get comfortable thinking I don’t have to wake up tomorrow and stay on my grind then it becomes a everyday thing of laziness that can carry on for days weeks or months.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I specialize in credit repair. Why I’m different than others is because I remind motivate and teach folks the things they need to stay consistent and not become complacent because I was in the same boat at one point in my life. I’m not here to make anyone feel small or less than. So many people have been led wrong in life and didn’t have the proper education growing up so I’m here to provide that plus more.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Personally I would say find the desire to be consistent in everything you do even if it’s the little steps you take in the long run it’s gone pay off tremendously!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success means being able to live without fear. Fear of being mediocre, paying bills, others opinions, and being embarrassed . One can make a lot of money but if they are still afraid and hold resentment, are they truly successful?
What’s next for you?
Next I want to write a book about my life and do a YouTube journey video because I’ve been recording through the years for days like this.
