Meet Tomer Orenstein

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tomer Orenstein.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

First of all, thank you very much for the interview. I am Tomer Orenstein, known by the stage name TOMER, 25 years old from Tel Aviv, Israel. I am a musician, singer / songwriter, guitar player, and performer. From a very young age I learned to play the keyboards, then guitar, music production and finally vocal development which I practice every day until now. From a very young age, it was clear to me that my goal in life is to create music and perform with it in front of many fans. I did not know how to do it; it was my dream. But just a dream. Today after years of hard work, songs I’ve released (Vertigo, Superman, Tears, Heartbreaker), music videos, interviews, a fan base, concerts around the world I can say I’m living my dream. I have a lot more to aspire to, but it’s a pure happiness to live, knowing I’m in the right direction.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

In the way I see life, challenges are not just an important part, they are the most important part. The challenges have made me who I am today, and I know that the challenges I am experiencing these days will make me stronger in the future. I went through a lot. Contempt from my best friends, a very hard breakup from my ex and even threats on my life. I can tell that the thing that most affected me was the breakup. I became in one night from a happy person who has almost everything he wants to a depressed and pessimistic person. I lost everything I had literally. I went back to live with my parents and for two whole weeks I did not leave the room. I locked myself in and did not get out of bed. One night I came across a video of Steve Harvey on YouTube. I saw a man who lost everything he had twice and became a homeless. In one moment, I realized I’m too deep in the past, instead of developing my future. Today I know that this breakup was a process I had to go through, a process that made me a stronger person, a process that focused me on what was really important to me developing my music career. This breakup created an amazing music and a song that my fans love the most TEARS.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

The music industry is tough. There are lots of talented musicians and very few places at the top of the charts. I write what I experience, I do it my way. I work very hard to make my songs gain momentum. I have no rest; my work culture is obsessed to achieving the ultimate goals.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

No matter what you are going through now, remember that beyond every cloud there are clear skies. All you have to do is keep going. If you don’t stop, success is guaranteed.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

For me, the great success = tens of thousands of fans singing my songs out loud in a live concert.

What’s next for you?

As always, I’m working on new music coming out soon. In addition, continuing the world tour that my band and I started in 2021 we will perform in many countries in 2022.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more.

I update my Instagram account on a daily basis (@thatstomer). I invite y’all to follow me and to check my Website, YouTube channel, Spotify, Apple Music.
