Today we’d like to introduce you to Dianna Liner.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Dianna Liner with Liner Entertainment Group Inc. I am an entertainment executive working on music and film. I own a company called Liner Entertainment Group in Houston Texas which is a Talent Management firm. I have also recently launched a Film Production company called ” Liner Films LLC” in Houston as well. I started my career working in Radio at 2 of the top radio stations in Houston Texas 104 KRBE and MIX 96.5 Fm. While working in Radio at 104 I meet a gentleman who came to the station with an unknown band at the time called NSYNC. We played their single “tearing up my hear”. I wanted to learn more about the music industry ( the business side) So I went on the road on a few dates with Nsync as an assistant to their then Record Rep Mark Landis with RCA Records, from there It was about networking. I soon after started Liner Entertainment Group.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Well, Being a female in the industry In at the time male dominated industry, I felt like I had to work harder to prove myself. They assumed I was not smart or knew what I was doing, so I just ignore the haters and moved forward staying strong in faith. I went through a few business partners that were NIGHTMARES, always trying to steal the company or ride on my coattails.. Lots of dealing with people who say one thing and do something totally different.. It has been a challenge to find the right clients, and business associates.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Liner Entertainment Group is a Talent Management Firm. I manage recording artist and actors working to help them get to the next steps in their careers. Liner Films LLC is a Film Production company, We are currently working on the first film called “RISE OF THE TARRAGON”
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Keep at it, never let someone tell you, you CANT do it, Ignore those who are always complaining,.. Stay away from negative people, only surround yourself with positive people who support you and want to lift you up ..
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Striving to be the best I can be with no regrets, pauses, or setbacks..
What’s next for you?
Currently we are working on our film project and I am working with my clients on other promotion and marketing opportunities for them.. Also my sister and I are launching a Whiskey Brand in honor of our Great Great Grandfather…
