Today we’d like to introduce you to JR Michael.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
How did I get to where I am today, you say? Well, I had to deal with a lot of rejections and failures throughout my life. I realize that school does not teach you the real trials and errors that life brings you along the way. But I knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel. That’s the way I kept pushing forward and visualizing what my life would look like. I didn’t need to know how or why, I only need to know that the universe gave me a path to take and I just needed to trust the process and have faith.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
My success came with a lot of criticism and put downs. I also had to deal with always having to prove myself to people to believe in me. There were times where I wanted to quit. But in my heart I knew I couldn’t.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I work in the entertainment industry, I am director, actor, writer and film producer. I specialize in directing and producing features and short films as well as documentaries. Why should someone work with me over the competition is because I am accountable and reliable when it comes to my work and others. I believe in transparence when conducting business and forming relationships on both sides.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
One of the best advice I could give to my readers, is that you need to be in the right mind set. Because life will throw things at you in all different directions and you need to be in the right place in your mind at that moment in time. Sometimes we as people need to look at our selves and understand who we are and then make the necessary changes. In order to move forward with yourself.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
What does success means to me? It means positioning. What do I mean by that, is understanding who you are as an individual person and realizing what success is to you. True success is having the progressive realization of a worthy idea. If you know where you are going in life you are already successful!
What’s next for you?
What’s next for JR Michael? Well my team and I have designed a sneaker/ clothing line that are called BS. And the slogan for the sneakers and clothing line is “What’s your BS”.
