It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I first started when I was in high school in Ivory Coast. At the beginning I was rapping because almost everyone of my friends was doing it and then it has been a hobby. I recorded my first song and everyone was telling me that it’s really good so I decided to keep going.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
It was hard because when you’re doing something that you like and you seems good at it, not everyone is ok to let you keep going like that so they become haters. They doing everything they can to make you feel like trash but when you know your value, you stay focus on your goals
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Today I can say that I’m truly an artist rapper because over 10 years I did exactly what I had to do to let the people know that I’m doing music. And I know that’s only the beginning but I’m ready to prove to the world that I can and I will do big things in the music world
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Be really confident and focus in what you do no matter what people can say to discourage you or how long it’s going to take to reach your goal. As long as you believe in your work they will believe too, you just don’t know when.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
For me success means reach your goals and making proud of yourself and the people around you like your family and your friends
What’s next for you?
Make my nickname (Tj Mix) a big name in the music industry, being able to make some big collaborations, make my mother proud and provide for my relatives in need
