Exclusive Interview With Imari Reynolds

Today we’d like to introduce you to Imari Reynolds.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I was born and raised most of my years in Detroit, Michigan. Everyone considered me as the “kid with many talents.” My passion was heavy for drawing, playing sports, and learning different musical instruments. One day, my parents mentioned something to me that took me way out of my comfort zone. They strongly suggest I get myself involved in the Easter play at our local church. I honestly felt so nervous about joining because I knew I would have to perform in front of people. But, this opportunity changed my life forever. I remember everyone in the play receiving a round of applause for the great performance we displayed. At that moment, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life’s as an entertainer. Later in my career, I’ve attended a few schools in Detroit and Los Angeles, to further my education in acting. I was blessed enough to book over 30 projects.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

It’s not an easy journey. There’s been times in my life that almost cost me to almost give up completely. Some of those stops were insecurity, finance, and simply not believing in myself. I feel like those type of things happen, especially in this business. But, it’s how you handle it and overcome obstacles. As an entrepreneur, I made it my duty to keep pushing and make firm decisions to gain rewards in the long run. “Risk takers wins last.”

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I’m a working Actor, musician, and youtuber. I’ve been in the industry over 5 years. Every opportunity I get, I take the time to learn from others. It helps me grow and unlock true potential. I’ll do what it takes to succeed. Can’t worry about competition.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

BE CONFIDENT!

I say that loudly because it took me years to be confident. I was afraid of judgement from my peers and loved ones when it came to my dreams. You can’t be ashamed of what could potentially makes you happy. Confident is a powerful word and when you use that to whatever you’re chasing, you’re untouchable.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success can mean many things, but for me, I want to say beating the odds. I try to set high expectations to obtain those goals. That means keeping a positive mindset, believing, work extremely hard, analyze and learn from my previous failures. That honestly works for me.

What’s next for you?

If you want to keep up with me, you can always watch my vlogs I post weekly. There I talk about my latest music, acting project, and more exclusives.
