Today we’d like to introduce you to Djordje Novakovic.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve been working for the last 7 years in the same industry. Most people think it’s easy and you’ll become rich overnight but this is not the truth. I was studying, I did my studies, bachelor’s in Switzerland, in Lausanne (HEC university) then I did my master’s in investment & risk finance in the UK, but I always felt like being in an office or working for someone wasn’t for me! During my studies, I started to invest for myself which allowed me to open my mind and discover amazing people that ALSO helped me to open my own marketing agency.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
At the beginning like every entrepreneur I wasn’t successful, I lost a lot of money, but through time I understood it and managed to find the right influencers. The influencer game is really hard cause the main game is not just to be famous, it’s to stay relevant! So I have to make sure that what we doing together is not having a negative impact, on the opposite, it has to bring them real value. Now regarding my crypto investments, we currently have a Bear market with most of the assets! When I saw that a recession was coming, I sold most of my assets, and so, I currently have a large position of my portfolio composed in cash, in order to be able to jump in good opportunities soon!
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I work with Crypto, NFT’s & Real Estate. Depending on the project, I’m trying to focus on a fundamental aspect: understanding the need of my client.
When it goes to the trading platform, my marketing strategy is to provide a first approach to the market by making it easier
In case I’m working with any web3 company that is involved in the nft space, I’ll try to understand what kind of project is it, and what kind of community they need in order to fit the project in order to be sustainable. The goal is not to sell out a project thanks to a marketing strategy, but to create a community that will last through time.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Always trust in yourself, cause others won’t pay your bills. If u can’t believe in yourself or bet on yourself, why would others? Success doesn’t come overnight it took me 7 years to be where I am. Entrepreneurship is one step one by one and it goes by itself! Don’t be scared & try things. Never decline a meeting, especially when u at the beginning. Be active, be fast, and be ready to switch in order to take all the opportunities. Money does mean happiness but yea it’s cool to be rich!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success is doing what needs to be done in order to do what you love.
What’s next for you?
I honestly don’t know where I’ll be, I’m following the trends, and since a young age I’ve always been able to adapt myself to different types of environments in order to take advantage of them. In the future my dream would be to grow my marketing agency, and why not have a bigger name in the web3 industry?
One thing that I did and will keep doing is to bet on myself, I know my value, and I know that I can do a lot of things. I can’t wait to see the future trends.
