It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Synethia S Bland 38 yrs old from ELIZABETH, New Jersey.
I’m a wonderful mom to a beautiful 21yr old Daughter Destiny.
I am the Marketing Director / Brand Ambassador for Compassion Cosmetics
also a Union Carpenter Apprentice Local #253 , Owner of Tranquil Gardens Wellness Spa, Co Founder/ Marketing Director Of Empathy House a Transitional home for Formally Incarcerated Women and Women coming out of Domestic Violence Shelters.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I have had to overcome the biggest challenge losing my mom at just 6 yrs old. Since then everything has been a challenge growing up with no mom. I am also a Formally incarcerated individual. I spent 2 years in Danbury Federal Prison Camp.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Compassion Cosmetics is a Cosmetic brand which allows women on a mission to bring change, hope, love and healing.
By using cosmetics filled with empathy and Compassion and above all determination.
My team is comprised of like minded Mothers and Daughters who have risen from adversity.
85% of the proceeds go towards trauma impacted mothers and daughters to show them no matter what you have been thru digging deep inside your inner self and you can also get beauty from their ashes.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Never give up, Never allow anyone to tell you what you can’t do.
Take the risk or lose the Chance !!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success means I never gave up.
What’s next for you?
I plan to go wherever god calls me to be. Whether it’s in the schools mentoring children, back in the prisons showing others there is hope after of incarceration.
