Community Advocate Quits His Job To Teach Financial Freedom

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Garry.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

As a kid born in South Central Los Angeles in 1992, life was tough. My parents migrated here, from St Vincent & The Grenadines, to improve their lives. They had no idea what they were stepping into.

Both of my parents worked and my mom was college educated but they struggled financially.

In my early 20s I started working with local organizations to determine the needs of my community. We gathered information from hundreds of community members and the results still scare me to this day. People didn’t have the financial resources needed to meet their basic living needs much less accumulate wealth. This motivated me to empower and educate people in my community around finances.

For about a decade I worked as a full time civil service career and volunteered in my community. In 2020, I was presented the HALO Award which meant a lot to me.

Now my community work has expanded to a business that focuses on financial freedom for families.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Losing friends that I cared about was tough. Also almost losing my brother and best friend was hard to witness. I’ll never forget those traumatic experiences and how they shaped my belief and preparation system.

Resigning from my “good job”, whatever that means, at LADWP was extremely difficult, but it was a risk I was willing to take to make sure families have the resources they need to live financially free.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I specialize in helping families grow and protect their income, eliminate debt, and shape their own financial freedom. I am my only competition. Being coached by me is not only complimentary it pays well to get started right away.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Define what success means to you and determine how dedicated you are to that definition.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success to me means gaining knowledge that you can provide to others on a similar path. Choosing happiness regardless of the risk needed to get the job done. Creating a legacy that impacts is the short answer for me.

What’s next for you?

Creating the largest and most impactful network of financial educators on the planet is my next goal. My goal is to help 18,000 people change their families financial trajectory.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
