It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Putting in the work, never giving up, investing in myself, taking advantage of every beneficial opportunity that God puts in my path, trusting God & the process, then reaping the fruits of my labor.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Dealing with Poverty Pimps: people who prey on the ambition, grind, & work ethic of individuals who take their craft seriously for the sole benefit of themselves.
Lack of support from home as well. Once U’ve been praised for so long in your city, people look for that new sensation. But I’ve managed to stay relevant & on top for decades now glory be to God.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
The most controversial publicized independent artist in my region, much less the world; with accolades & awards in & outta state to prove it. I’m a conscious artist who’s very versatile to any topic on any beat. Plus if we collab on a track I’m gonna push the track as if it were mine & go half on everything, if not cover the tab.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Find what it is you love to do, investigate & put the work in to achieve it physically and financially, trust God and the process no matter what obstacles or hurdles, then reap the harvest of your labor.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success to me is to be able to do whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it, and come and go as you please on your own accord with without having to need anybody’s permission/
What’s next for you?
Playing an active role in my kid’s life being the best dad I could be, still creating sensational timeless music year after year, staying focused and driving slow down whatever path God has in store for me/
