Septimius, a Maryland based dance music artist and actor, is an International Multi-Award Winning Entertainer and Creative innovator. Known around the globe for his dance music in domestically and abroad, he has worked with some of the industry’s biggest names including: Fantasia, Chrisette Michele, Lil Kim, Lil Mo, Pat Benetar, Patti Labelle, Crystal Waters, and Ultra Nate’ just to name a few. 9 on the Grammy FYC Nominations, Grammy Voting Member, Lead Actor on the TV Series – Severus: The Black Caesar, Contestant on NBC’s America’s Got Talent TV show, Music Featured on FOX’s Empire TV Show, Music Featured on E Channel’s Rich Kids of Beverly Hills TV Show, 14 Indie Music Channel Awards, and 7 Radio Music Awards
Looking back, what success advice would you give to your younger self?
The world is your canvass. It’s your path to experience it and learn your passion. Once you discover your passion, don’t focus of being rich but instead; on being happy. When you are happy doing what you love to do, you start to get opportunities from all angles (some good and some bad) so make the best of all of them. Success to me means that being happy and recognized for your passionate work. If people see, hear or talk about your work (good or bad), then you have successfully enlightened people into your passion.
