Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon E. Beal.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Pleasure to speaking with you all today. Truly is an honor. Oh man, where to being? Growing up in St. Louis, Mo., I’ve always had big dreams of playing pro baseball, basketball or football. Well that dream was cut short right after college tearing a ligament in my foot working out with the NFL in 2010. So my football career was over before it ever got started.
During my rehab, I became crazy passionate about fitness and personal training. So that was my career path for a bit and it was pretty fulfilling for a while. But as we all learn at some point, some times our passions don’t pay very well and being newly engaged, I needed something different. That’s when I found the industry of financial services and let me tell you, it’s been nothing short of a blessing. I thank god for literally putting this new path in my life.
My first year in the business, my wife Ashley and I earned over six figures and I knew at that point we could plant roots and watch this take off and grow.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Great question. Being an entrepreneur, every new day brings new challenges. I’ve found that constantly remembering my “WHY” has helped me to keep going when adversity hits. I mean let’s be real, nothing in life worth having comes easy or is free. But the difference between those who are successful and those who aren’t is the willingness to get back up after you’ve been knocked out! Resilience, ambition, & determination I believe are traits and characteristics every single person needs in all walks off life if they want to “make it”.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I absolutely LOVE what I do. At Beal Financial Group partnered with Integrity Marketing we’re able to offer families all across the country from all walks of life financial services products that protect families if the worst should happen along with a wide array of retirement vehicles. Both of which again every household in America needs.
We also offer people the chance to significantly change THIER lives by partnering with us and becoming a licensed financial professional. We have so many people who change the financial situations having partnered with us.
Either way you slice it, we’re constantly helping and serving.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
DREAM BIG as hell! Write your dreams and goals down, daily. Make a plan of attack and then attack that plan. Once you do that, you don’t let anyone deter you from achieving your goals and dreams. Associate with people who make more money than you, have a better car, bigger houses, pretty much get around people who have what you want because you’re likely to be the average of the 5 people you associate with. So choose wisely.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Kobe Bryant said to his trainer Tim Grover that winning is “everything”. That’s what success is for me; especially being an African-American male in America. Success for me is vital and almost an expectation I have of myself to show those who look like me what’s possible.
What’s next for you?
What’s next? For us what’s next is turning Beal Financial into a powerhouse in the insurance industry. And we’re not stopping for anything or anyone. It’s not going to be easy, there’s going to ups and downs, good times and not so good times, that’s life. But again, we’re willing to get back up on that horse after being knocked off.
