Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon Anderson.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Hello, my name is Shannon Poshe Anderson. I am an authorpreneur and publisher based out of Atlanta, Ga. I first wrote my book back in 2017 and that is what led me to what I am currently doing today, which is inspiring and motivating others through the power of my own story and experiences to write and publish their books. Since then, I have helped hundreds of people to write and publish their books and turn their stories into brands. I feel like your story is your glory and the one thing that separates you from everyone else. It’s important to use it to bring awareness as well as connect and unify others.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
First I had to overcome the fear that comes along with sharing your story. I thought that people would judge me. However, what I found was that people admired me and supported me. So much so, that I was able to turn my book Stripper To Striver into a documentary and license it to Amazon Prime and other networks. Getting over the fear and pushing through, while gaining the confidence to own my voice was a huge obstacle that I faced. Writing my book and sharing my story was the best decision that I ever made.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am a book writing coach and book publisher. I help people to write and publish their books in 90 days.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
My best piece of advice to readers is to listen to your intuition. We all feel that tugging or that pull. However, we allow other things to get in the way or we allow fear to set in. Listening to your intuition and taking the necessary steps will lead you to your destiny.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success means to me being able to do the things that I was created to do. To impact lives, and to inspire others.
What’s next for you?
What’s next for me is to expand my book writing and publishing company to allow me to help more people. My goal is to keep impacting the world by helping more people share their stories and their journeys, which will create hope and inspiration for others. My goal is to change the world one story at a time.
