Today we’d like to introduce you to K’Sandra Stanfield.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Well, I was born in Jacksonville, Fl and raised by my mother and grandparents who each had their own businesses. I started off taking computer and business classes in high school. During my senior year, I became a mom and graduated top of my class! After high school I went to a local college here in Jacksonville for marketing and business administration ! During that time, I was working full time, but I decided to start Kay Laurice to offer Virtual Assistant and social media marketing services to local businesses in the area. After 5 years of working with businesses owners ALL OVER THE WORLD and partnering with wonderful people in the industry I have grown Kay Laurice to be a FULL FLEDGE ONE STOP SHOP offer a wide range of business Marketing and Branding services I started out working from home then I bought a tiny house once I went full time with my business last year. From there, it grew so much that we purchased our first storefront office the beginning of this year.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
During this time of owning a business I have learned that you cannot please EVERYONE and everyone is not your ideal customer or client! With that being said I’ve learned to watch who I do business with and not to work with just anyone.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Kay Laurice offers virtual assistant, social media management and marketing, graphic and web design as well as printing services for all of your marketing material needs! What sets us apart from our competitors is our excellent customer service, the passion we have to help our clients WIN and also the one on one times that our clients like because they feel it’s more personable than robotic.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Nothing is handed to you and you cannot reach the top by yourself! Work hard, make connections and NEVER burn bridges within businesses… you never know who might put you on when the time is right!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success means doing your best to accomplish the goals you have in life whether it’s personal or business wise. Sometimes success might not always mean winning but learning from your failed attempts to come back the next time STRONGER & HARDER!
What’s next for you?
Well, recently I’ve opened my new event center in Jacksonville FL. We are also planning to expand Kay Laurice in different cities within the upcoming year!
