Exclusive Interview with Joey Reyes – Entrepreneur from Queens
Today we’d like to introduce you to Joey Reyes.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
It’s an honor to tell my story and reach a wider audience who can potentially be inspired and motivated to do the same no matter how big the dream is. I’m a Latino born and raised in Jamaica queens. My name is Joey. I was brought up in queens, New York. My life prior to the pandemic was simple. I was working as an electrician in local 3 but once the pandemic came, it was an eye opener and showed me I deserve so much more. I came across a book that changed my life forever, “Rich dad Poor dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. My view on my life, I couldn’t look at it the same. Made me think and I realized if I stayed in the position of an employee, I will be working all my life instead of making money work for me. That was lesson number 1. I read more books, surrounded myself with like minded individuals and put my money in courses to educate myself. I was able to buy my first investment property 8 months later. When I felt the first time, making money and didn’t have to physically work. It was the real game changer. After that, it was e-commerce, investing in crypto, Airbnb and now renting Exotic and luxury cars in NYC. Let that inspire anyone who thinks they can’t do it too. I was just like you.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Success never comes easy or everyone would be butt anyone has the ability to become successful. The mindset is very powerful. Staying positive and learning from your mistakes is what really shapes you into a strong minded person. When I had fears of investing or investing in myself, I just always told myself “this is better than anything else you would have spent your money on”. There are no mistakes, only lessons. When you surround yourself with individuals who think different, the conversations are different. It wasn’t no longer conversations I was used to. I had to put myself in uncomfortable situations to start feeling a little more comfortable every time.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

Those few around me, I want to see them the best that they can be. The best company is not the best because they have the most sales, but who can give the best experience. That’s what you can get with us. Nyexotics !
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
One of my mentor once told me. “Whatever you do, you must find your why”. Find your “why” and everything will make more sense. Retire your mom and dad, spend more time with your family, help others reach their goals, travel the world and not worry about putting in a vacation to be approved. My best advice to anyone who wants to be successful in life is to keep going. Things are not easy, turn off that negativity and try again. Success is not easy or everyone would be. You have to sacrifice those nights you wanted to go out, spend money on a mentor to learn about something that can get you there. Change your mindset. Change your friends if you are the only one in the circle feeling out of place. Will it be hard? Yes of course. Will there be times you want to give up? Yes but you know you gotta do it. You can go as far as you want. Sky is the limit.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success to me is when I am comfortable doing things that used to make me uncomfortable. Success is when you can take care of your loved ones and not struggle to do so. When you are free to do what you want to, when you want to. Success is when the people around you are successful too. Success to me is when you can share experiences and impact someone else’s life to change and try to follow you to be better.
What’s next for you?
Next for me is to keep pushing myself, inspire. Be an inspiration to the Latino community. Keep working on my dreams, my mind and body to better than ever. Keep going to networking events, meeting great people.
Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
