It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m human. I just so happen to appreciate hard work, patience, and understanding people. I’m honestly a creator, a connector of great people. My heart and passion came from being a hip-hop artist, but as I became submerged in the culture. I wanted more. I wanted to provide value to other creatives like myself and help inspire the community and those with a similar upbringing to me.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
The biggest challenge I had, was finding out who I am in a world where you’re taught to be everyone but yourself.
When you’re the talent, you’re being molded to replicate a process that WORKS… a formula that is being done over and over again. Which is ironically the same thing that makes you replaceable.
The biggest hurdle for me was thinking outside of the box, realizing there isn’t one, and then using the resources around me to create more resources and opportunities for growth.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am a motivational speaker driven by my love for being an artist and changing lives. With Mogul Mined, I bring positivity, growth, inspirational insight, and knowledge to an environment that many people overlook. My specialized music industry and branding background help add emphasis towards bridging that gap.
I learned to not focus on people working with me but instead focus on helping create powerful scenarios for others to use their brands to impact every one of their supporters.
Our power lies in taking advantage of what’s around us and creating life-changing relationships/situations.
I apply this perspective at all times: Whether it’s while in the studio, during marketing consultations, behind the camera, on the microphone, or in front of an audience.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Find out what you can’t live without, then do everything in your power to make sure that you never have to.
Everything in life can be connected to another if you know the glue needed to hold it in place.
When you find your purpose and passion, then find out who needs that from you most. You are the glue: find out how to make sure it sticks.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success is waking up and being yourself: Unapologetically. Being able to be unique and make a difference in the lives of everyone you interact with, regardless of if it’s in-person or virtually.
Money comes and goes. Character is forever. Whether you are a multi-millionaire or living paycheck to paycheck, you are making a difference in the lives of others more than you know it, just by waking up and being you. The moment you lose the essence of yourself, the rest is irrelevant.
What’s next for you?
Whatever God and the universe have in store.
As long as it’s changing lives and inspiring people to do the same – through art, impact, music, motivational speaking, and every other puzzle that comes on this path of becoming a mogul.
I am honored to be in a position to make it happen. It’s a daily inspiration to be better.
