Today we’d like to introduce you to Simarjit Ponder.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m honored to speak with you today! My name is Simarjit Ponder and I am the owner of Si Aesthetics by Diamond Lotus. I started this journey after I lost vision in my eye left and was diagnosed with a rare auto immune disorder called Neuromyelitis Optica. I was told I would have to take a form of chemo called Rituxan for the rest of my life. I wanted to research and explore a Holistic approach. After looking into Holistic Health, I found an old ancient practice called Yoni Steaming. I became very interested and decided to hire a Holistic Practitioner to learn more. Soon after I became a Certified Holistic Practitioner I wanted to become a Licensed Esthetician. This journey has definitely been different, but I absolutely love what I do.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
The beginning of this journey was not easy at all. I hired people that were not honest and I lost a lot of money. I thought I had people I could trust that I couldn’t. It was hard. The stress didn’t stop there. After being in the Esthetics program for almost 9 months and about to be done I find out the school was not accredited to have an esthetics program. We had to start completely over and I was furious. State Board would not approve our hours even when the problem was at no fault of the students and we had paid full tuition to this school. Again I was furious, but I was determined to finish. Once the school completed the proper paperwork I went back and finished the program Again! In the midst of that we were in a pandemic and a national shut down. The pandemic taught me other ways to grow my business without touching a client.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
My advice for anyone starting their journey the key to success in business would be to do your Research. Research the work you are doing, the area you are in, others that do what you do, business coach, and your state rules and regulations. Having a team is very important. I’m a very spiritual person so God is the most important person on my team, I put him first and trust his direction. Having a supportive team is crucial. You have to know that you can’t do everything and there are people who do those jobs and task for a living. You will spend money but spend it smart invest in a team. You rather do it right than spend money in circles and lose a lot. If I could change anything that would be #1 on my list. I would have did my research and invested in the right team that fit the needs for my business. People will sell their brand but it’s up to you to research their credentials to know if they are a fit for you and your business. Alignment is very important. Everyone’s table is not meant for you to sit. Remember that!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success to me defines what makes me happy and doing what makes me happy with proud. It also means not taking the easy path, but learning new things and advancing my knowledge. Growing mentally, spiritually, physically and professionally is success to me. Success is collaborating with peers to help each other grow and succeed. Success to me is reaching out to others in this industry to know and understand collaboration over competition. Success is helping others relax, rejuvenate and have amazing confidence. Success is educating my clients on the skin care and Yoni Health. It’s so important to be knowledgeable about the health. Success is also showing our youth the example of you can be whatever you want to be and you can do anything with hard work and dedication.
What’s next for you?
Si Aesthetics by Diamond Lotus has so much work to do. I have a few advanced classes and trainings to expand the brand and bring the best quality care for our clients. Yoni Talk Sundays is definitely expanding on different platforms and Yoni Health/Steaming will have new things coming this year. The new advances will also help others in this industry grow. I will help others advance in their business and also help others start their own business. I will expand my team this year and grow. The next step is profiting 8 figures and not just grossing 8 figures. I will invest more financially, mentally, spiritually and physically. I have created a facebook group for Estheticians for networking and empowering others. This mastermind group will help others level up their thinking and alignment to possibilities they didn’t know exist.
