It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Rooby man. I’m a Haitian recording artist/producer based in Chicago. My music is a fusion of world music. I don’t have a specific genre that I can put myself into. I just create whatever feels good. I’m an artist. I have been doing this for over 2 decades now. I won many Awards, performed all over the world, opened for many mainstream artists, and was featured on many newspapers, tv, magazines nationally and internationally.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I love music. Music has changed my life. But I’m still having a hard time dealing with the industry. That’s my biggest challenge.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I consider myself as a Entertainer/performer. I’m not a vocalist. And I’m a music producer also. My music is different. I bring creativity into my music. If you’re looking for something new and creative…I think I’m the guy. My music speak for itself.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Believe in yourself and keep going.
