From Chronic Pain to Community: Kristine Chilton’s Mission to Help Women Heal

A Calling Born From Disconnection

For Kristine Chilton, Women’s Healing and Empowerment Coach and founder of I Will Find Joy, purpose emerged from profound struggle. What began as a personal battle with chronic illness evolved into a platform dedicated to helping women rediscover hope during life-altering transitions.

“In 2007, I was struggling with chronic pain and feeling deeply disconnected—from my life and from others,” she recalls. “No one close to me could fully understand what I was going through.”

Searching for support, she found online communities that offered validation and understanding. That experience inspired her to create a Facebook page, I Will Find Joy, to provide others with the same lifeline.

Building Momentum Through Action

Like many mission-driven entrepreneurs, Chilton’s growth was incremental. Technology hurdles, unclear strategy, and self-doubt slowed progress. “It was a painfully slow process,” she admits.

Rather than retreat, she leaned into mentorship. Joining Speakerpreneur and working with coach Akbar Sheikh marked a pivotal shift. “Action changed everything,” she says. “Each time I moved forward, I gained confidence. I realized I couldn’t live a big life while playing small.”

Advice Rooted in Experience

Chilton’s guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs reflects her journey, “learn to clap for yourself,” she says. “Celebrate your wins—even if no one else sees them. If your ‘why’ is strong enough, you can keep going when it’s hard.”

Her philosophy centers on emotional resilience as much as business growth—a combination that resonates deeply with women navigating reinvention.

A Community-Centered Future

As I Will Find Joy continues to evolve, Chilton is focused on deepening connection—not just expanding reach. Next month, she will launch a private, nurturing community where workshops, emotional healing tools, and shared experiences come together in one safe space.

Designed to prioritize compassion, safety, and authentic connection, the community will support women seeking clarity and healing during life transitions.

Through IWillFindJoy.com, her social platforms @iwillfindjoy_ and Facebook: I Will Find Joy, and the I Will Find Joy Podcast—available on Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Podbean—she continues to guide others toward hope.

“You don’t find joy by escaping pain,” she says, “you find it by healing from what hurts you and daring to dream. Dreams create hope for a different future.”
