Now, in as much detail as you’re willing to share, why don’t you tell us about what you do?

I’m working on a giant utility scale sized project with renewables. My mission is to have people buy power from the townships they live in instead of the utility company. Certain towns are uniquely qualified to utilize community solar garden laws. Places like where I am from have plenty of grid infrastructure, and land, which are the two key ingredients. The amount of money the township collects and spends is nothing compared to the amount of money generated selling power. The millions and millions of dollars im talking about already exist. I’m just saying reroute them back to the pockets of tax payers. Property tax is a huge crisis right now. It’s out of control, and people in my town are lucky it has not been raised in so long.

However by adding onto an already successful pilot program,

We can perhaps eliminate property tax altogether.

Medford Nj has saved millions of dollars doing their own water and sewage.

Adding electricity to that, will spur massive economic growth. A decades worth of high paying jobs to people right out of school. These people will want to buy a home near the job site.

The busier the area gets , with more quality home owners , the more traffic , thus more business and services.

Suddenly, boom, the homes that were here first, now more valuable!

Looking back, what success advice would you give to your younger self?

I would tell myself to not let bullies bother me. At vivint I had a couple of bosses who were bullies. I let them make me not want to do my job, bc I didn’t want to make them money. I would tell myself to work hard despite their efforts to kill your vibe. Outshine them, and hold true to your morals of demanding respect out of people who play too much.

Do you have any final thoughts you would like to share with our audience?

For all you solar pros out there please remember when you’re making 5 figure checks , what you are doing to the home owners. Remember they’re paying 25 cents on every dollar you make up front. Remember that for every 25 year term; at 1.99% per $10,000.00 you make… costs home owners almost $3,000 in interest.

If you chalk up the tax credit and the state credits and your commission, and their cost to finance your commission,

Is equal To or greater than that total…

Well you are the problem.

I firmly believe I sell a product worth going to bat over , I can look anyone in the eye and say that too.

I challenge anyone to refute this,

But if I can sell at 4.5 a watt w a 0% escalator and spend $10,000.00 on a 2,500 sq roof ,

And make $10,000.00 myself,

Without interest or dealer fees….

Home owners really don’t mind.

Some do; and they get lead guards and gutters, too!
