Today we’d like to introduce you to Joel Sebring.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

A lot of practice and dedication. My music interest started early in childhood. Listening to the hits of the day during my teenage years probably inspired most of my writing technique today. Starting out performing solo acoustic guitar at all the venues I could up and down the coast of Florida in the early years. You have to pay your dues, so to speak, before you are experienced enough to rise to the next level of performing or recording music professionally.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Of course there are many challenges to overcome. That’s life just in general, no matter what career path one takes. The music business is at times very exciting. I would highly recommend to anyone that asked me my opinion on a possible career path in the music field, to go into it only if you have the passion to drive you through the low points. Many sacrifices come along with this ride if you really want to take it to the major level. I just had to do this, I had no choice really. The drive in me for all these years to keep performing and practicing to keep getting better is based on my inner soul’s peace. I need to do this. If you are in it for fame and fortune, you might want to find something else to invest your time in.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am first a songwriter. I have always seemed to be able to create music and lyrics. I am passionate about songs having some lyrical content that relates to the listener. Sometimes life, sometimes love. The meanings to my songs should resonate to the listener something we all have in common as human beings living life.
I am a guitarist with many southern rock influences and that Telecaster sound through Twin Reverbs, love it. As a performer, I try to leave no doubt in the audiences mind, that I came to rock the house.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Success in life? Find that in which you can do naturally, you gravitate to it, you want to learn more about it, You would even do it for free! That is your true purpose. In your true purpose, is your success.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Being happy, peaceful. Nothing missing and nothing broken!
