Rosie and Kit Volcano Prove Authenticity Is the Secret to Business Success

What does it take to transform failure into a seven-figure success story? For Rosie and Kit Volcano, the answer lies in authenticity, courage, and the willingness to invest in themselves.

In 2014, the couple opened a yoga studio fueled by passion but constrained by a scarcity mindset. “We believed that wanting to earn money made us bad people,” Rosie reflects. Within a few years, the studio collapsed, leaving them broke and discouraged.

By 2017, they were sleeping on a pull-out couch in a friend’s office. Yet that rock-bottom moment sparked their boldest decision: investing $10,000 in a coaching program they couldn’t afford.

That choice changed their lives forever.

The Power of Self-Investment

The investment wasn’t just about business strategy—it was about identity. “We learned to stop apologizing for wanting to thrive,” Rosie says. Within a year, they celebrated their first six-figure month. Those months compounded into a thriving seven-figure business.

Their company, The Little Volcano Coaching and Communication, grew into a global platform offering coaching, retreats, and online programs.

Breaking Barriers with Authenticity

At their first coaching retreat, Kit, newly transitioning from female to male, faced the challenge of visibility. When the lead coach, Sabastian, said: “Give them a reason to reject you, and you give them a reason to accept you,” Kit decided to embrace vulnerability fully.

Wearing a purple leotard beneath his clothes, he revealed himself to the group—bearded, with breasts, and unapologetically authentic. Silence filled the room until Sabastian opened his arms and said, “Come to Daddy.”

That moment broke down walls. Prejudices dissolved. Rosie recalls, “We all learned that people are hard to hate close up.”

A Coaching Brand with a Mission

Today, Rosie and Kit teach entrepreneurs that authenticity isn’t a weakness—it’s their greatest strength. “Be real. Be brave. Take action—even if it terrifies you,” Rosie advises.

Looking ahead, the couple is focused on expanding through books, podcasts, and live events—all designed to help people become unapologetically themselves.
