NYLA Talent CEO, Courtney Stewart, Launches Worldwide Entertainment Company With A Heart For Giving Back

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Stewart.

Tell us about what you’re working on at the moment that you would love the world to know about. Give us as much detail as possible!

I am currently launching the Worldwide Association of Talent and Entertainment Resources, WATER-LA. It collaborates with talent scouts, agents, managers, coaches, photographers, and people who want to make a difference in the world. We help aspiring talent reach their dreams while focusing on donating to clean water initiatives and charities that build water wells in Africa and other areas in need of clean water.

Is there anyone in your life you’d like to shout out that has helped you get to where you are? How have they helped you?

I have an incredible support team. Everyone in our placement department, talent scouts, celebrity coaches, and agents we place kids with play a part in our success. I work with the best in the business. As a member of the International Presentation of Performers, I have worked with the Founder, Ron Patterson, for many years. He has always been a wealth of inspiration and encouragement for me. His strong work ethic definitely shaped my career in the early years. My parents, Randy Stewart and Sandra Stewart have been my biggest lifelong cheerleaders. They instilled in me an “If you can dream it, you can do it” attitude. That has served me well.

Do you have any final thoughts you would like to share with our audience?

Success is a journey, not a destination. Honor where you are and stay positive. Do something every day that moves you in the direction of your dreams. Hire experts and professionals who have already done what you want to do. Ignore haters and critics. They are there to do just that, criticize. Do not allow narrow-minded naysayers to distract you from your goals. Remember that, as Sheryl Sandberg says, “Done is Better than Perfect” and follow Nike’s slogan and “Just Do It.”

Finally, how can people connect with you and learn more about what you do?
