Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Vazquez.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Thank you for having me. It’s actually been a long journey. Believe it or not, I’ve learned things the hard way with my career. I didn’t piggy back on anyone. It was very hard some days, but I’m here.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
This is a good question, but a tough one. I will say competing for a modeling spot was always difficult for me because I didn’t have the confidence I do now, then. Confidence is challenging. One day I should write a book.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Hahaha it’s funny how all these questions tie together. I don’t think in the modeling industry, you specialize in a whole lot, per say. I say this because we all do the same thing, but what I’m good at is being myself and having good character and knowledge of things. I’m human and I’m not always gonna be serious. If something is funny, I laugh. If something bothers me, I have to address it. That’s just who I am.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success?
It’s okay to fail, but don’t give up because of that one failure. Especially if it’s something you truly have a passion for. Your reward will come.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Well, there are many meanings to that word. My definition of it is, being where you wanna be, doing what you wanna do and who you want around you. Success comes from within and what you want.
