Today we’d like to introduce you to Maia Goode.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Firstly, thank you for having me. Let me say dedication, perseverance a lot of hard work ups and downs, but my goal was to create something 100% all natural and organic that could treat hair loss I was experiencing and the extreme eczema my children were experiencing on their skin.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Oh yes, for sure. People not believing in the results of our product, mainly being a 100% owned and operated minority owned company will have its hurdles, and most recently the challenges from covid. We had issues with manufacturing delays and partner issues.
Certainly with being the creator, marketing manager, handling our own distribution and shipping comes with a ton of obstacles and challenges, but we overcame them and continue to jump over them and remain diligent in our market. I’ve grown some amazing connections and I have learned to fail forward when we’ve been up against what seemed to be overwhelming obstacles, which brought out successful outcomes. Our will and effort to continue to grow and eventually become a household name has gotten us through leaps and bounds.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
My specialty is 100% organic hair and skin care products. I honestly can’t say why someone should work with me over the competition I can only speak to what I’m doing and what I offer and hopefully consumers and partners who are likeminded and desire the same outcomes, will notice our value and hop onboard. Our quality practically speaks for itself. Also, working with all type of ethnicities of people allow us to gain a broader perspective and diverse way of accomplishing what we’ve set out to achieve.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Never give up no matter what!
There have been many Ohhhh I’ve cried myself to sleep. Many days I’ve wanted to throw in the towel, but God said KEEP GOING! So I pulled myself out of hopelessness many days to regroup and get re focused to remember why I started.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success for me goes back to what I said before. Never quitting! As long as you keep putting one for in front of the other, you’ll get to the finish line. Plan, line your ducks up in a row and keep going! You may not be where you want to be presently, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get to the end goal, as long as you never give up I guarantee you are on the track to being successful.
What’s next for you?
We would like to expand globally, and in all big brand box stores in all 50 states by next year.
