Today we’d like to introduce you to Rudy Martin.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
It’s an honor to be here. As a child and teenager, I never understood the meaning of credit or how it worked. I would just watch my parents and older siblings purchase cars, homes, etc once in a while. Credit is never taught in school and my parents really didn’t teach me credit literacy. I just knew I should pay bills and work.
I spent my 20s and most of my 30s stumbling through life and its financial obstacles. One day I decided to look into credit building and repair online. I understood the concept and the process. I just knew there was an easier way to do it and duplicate it. I have spent the last 7 years working close with powerhouse credit gurus like Damont Nickson in LA. But event then, I knew that credit education and coaching was lacking in its space. As I began with coaching and went onto repair and restoration with an emphasis on Business and Personal UA trade-lines is where I found my niche. I then founded La Vida Credit Restoration, LLC A company dedicated to coaching individuals and Business owners in boosting their credit. We coach Credit Literacy!
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I have been through it all before. From managing a team to building my own empire, entrepreneurship has always come with its challenges and the daily grind is no different for entrepreneurs in this day and age of technology overload – but along came Covid… I knew that while we were shut down, I could learn more about how our industry can help small businesses improve their credit profiles so they aren’t held back by technicalities like bankruptcy records or negative banking reviews.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I work in the FIN-TECH space of credit boosting for personal and business credit profiles. My AI/FinTech team out of Silicon Valley, CA has built an online consumer portal that offers every client to monitor their chosen trade lines as they are posted onto our company’s database! This is a major technological breakthrough because not only does it give people access but also gives them control – something nobody ever had before with this type of service offered by banks who typically held all your information hostage.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
People always will look up to those that Always look to be the Solution and make your best efforts never to be the problem.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success to me equals freedom. Freedom to spend more time with what matters most to me. My family.
What’s next for you?
I plan to pivot into the software space with a focus on developing new AI software for credit repair companies.
