Jaleel Anthony, The 20-Year-Old Speaker Who Has Helped Thousands Reach Their Purpose
Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaleel Anthony.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I am Jaleel Anthony, a 20 year old serial-entrepreneur, speaker, leader, and influencer. I’m best known for my creative ways of helping people reach their purpose. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois then moved to the Western Suburbs throughout my young adult years. I attended Proviso West High School, where I began to solidify my identity and purpose. Everyday I would see so many broken and lost individuals who really weren’t living in their true identities. That’s when I was inspired to create a platform and brand that showed individuals that you can live life unashamed being yourself. I landed myself on multiple television and radio stations, while also partnering up with other brands to help influence other young individuals. After high school I then attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma majoring in communications. After realizing college wasn’t the route for me, I locked in deeper with my desires and haven’t looked back since. I often tell a joke to people that I graduated college as a freshman just without a degree. So I didn’t give up on education I just found the path that was prone to my success. I’ve been able to speak to over 75,000 people and now run multiple businesses with one goal to: discover, develop, & deploy leader all across the world to instill belief in others that they can achieve whatever they desire.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
It was understanding that everyone isn’t meant to reach the mountain top with me. Along this journey many friends, family, and people I just knew would always stick with me aren’t here, but I’m still further now than I was then. With only being 20 and really just getting my feet in the water I now know that many more people will come and go, but I will still reach my goals. Everyone comes in for a reason, it’s either a lesson or a blessing, but regardless you take something from it and it helps you build and shape your story even more. One other thing I was faced with was realizing I didn’t need anyones validation on something God has already granted me access to achieve. I know many people still battle with this and the only way I overcame this was knowing who I am and whose I am. The word of God is a living testament of how wonderful all our in our own way despite how incomplete and broken we might feel.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I travel around sharing a message of hope. I use my voice to echo love and wisdom to anyone who wants to listen. I created a platform and brand to help inspire and encourage those who are seeking to either know their purpose or dive deeper into. I speak on faith, financial literacy, and the future of where we desire to go.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Figure out your Why first and then set your goals after. There will be numerous of times where you will feel like giving up, tired, and even questioning is this what you’re suppose to be doing but because you have your “Why(s)” it will keep you driving towards you goals. The only difference between the person who reached their goals and the person who didn’t, is one made a decision to never give up. It’s like driving a car if your destination is to California from Florida, you might run into car issues, you will definitely have to stop and gas up, just so much could happen along the way and the thing that could make one give up is the reason someone else gets there. Valleys are promised if the mountain top is your goal.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Well in 2015, at 15 I knew that I wanted to speak to massive crowds and add value to their lives. I didn’t know the how and all the logistics, I just saw my self doing that very thing. Years later, I began to do that very thing. So success to me is acknowledging your spiritual desires and being persistent till its in the physical realm. I desired to be on TV and after declaring it and acting as if I was already on TV their came opportunity after opportunity just begun to arise. Same when it came to working with organizations that inspired me like: iHeart Radio, FreshEmpire, Living Word Christian Center, ArtSoul Radio, and many more. So whatever you’re desiring I dare you to spend more time as it is already so. Celebrate like it’s here. Pre-Praise is the acceleration for your declaration of any of your goals and desires. I obtained this skillset from a few men that I look up to: Tyler Perry, Mike Todd, Alex Morton, David Imonitie, Bill Winston, and Justin Owens.
What’s next for you?
As 2021 wrap us and covid restrictions are becoming less strict, my plan into 2022 is really get in the trenches with my work. Give more back to communities, speak at schools, and develop the young man I’m evolving into. Goal at 21 is to see my first 7 figures so I know it will take a lot of desire and belief, so my work will consist of 90% of spiritual and 10% physically. I’ll be launching one of the biggest campaigns that’s centered around helping individuals find their purpose and believing that they can become much more than where they are now. Goal its to publish my first book and have a major event where people can come and be empower to go reach their goals even more.
