Interview with Portuguese Digital Entrepreneur and International Speaker Fábio Conceição
Today we’d like to introduce you to Fábio Filipe Rodrigues Conceição.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Hello, I appreciate you inviting me. I’m delighted to be here! Fábio Conceição is my name, and I’m a young man from Lisbon’s southern suburbs. I was born in Barreiro, where I also had my upbringing. I moved around a lot because of the instability of my mother’s job because she was an immigrant in Portugal and getting the papers was difficult at the time, so she had to work hard and in many different ways to put food on the table and a roof over our heads. As a result of the instability of constantly moving, I developed a positive characteristic: adaptability! In the end, it was really beneficial to me in my adult life. I was able to help myself and others fit in and really improve my communication and inclusion skills as a result. At age 12, I finally moved in with my father. He was a former member of the special operations forces who later went into business, and he encouraged me to join the military. At the age of 18, I enlisted in the Portuguese Air Force, where I spent several years and had the opportunity to pursue education and a way of life. It was fine, but I wanted to change things, assist myself, and then help others along the road! I started researching and learning about the cryptocurrency market, trading, and digital marketing and eventually created the podcast “The Truth that nobody tells us”.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
After turning 21, I had to overcome a lot of ingrained notions and paradigms in order to reinvent myself, which was far from easy. Nonetheless, I was eventually successful because I first altered the inner programming that affected my reputation and outward appearance. That is essentially what I share in my podcast today—simple advice on how to live your life in accordance with the teachings of my mentors, Jim Rohn and Bob Proctor, the former of whom I learned from after his passing and the latter of whom I actively followed because we collaborated on the same project but sadly died last year!
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I have specialized in human psychology, direct sales, financial market fluctuations, and how people react to these circumstances over the years. But when I originally started my digital and personal development journey, I had a debilitating fear of failure and a strong aversion to taking risks. Since most people’s minds are similarly designed to anticipate bad things, I’ve come up with easy techniques to fix this flawed “software” that has had a significant impact on both my life and the lives of others.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Before pursuing success, I believe we should first define what success looks like for us. Once this is done, we should set goals that are in line with that achievement. These goals should be specific, we should understand the process of building success rather than just focusing on the immediate results, and we should concentrate on small daily tasks that must be completed without fail.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success, in my opinion, is doing something to leave a generational legacy that will last for the following generations and foster the proper mindset for the advancement of humanity. Elon Musk is the best example I can think of someone who is accomplishing this.
What’s next for you?
I’m currently concentrating on expanding my podcast on a national and international level, trying to touch thousands of people through my life experiences, and spreading the word about financial literacy as well as the mindset that propelled me from a member of the military to a digital influencer and business owner. The next generation in Portugal wants more and understands that globalization is a great asset with enormous potential for those who want more and are prepared to take the risk, invest the money, and put in the time to get where they want to. Portugal still has a lot of room for improvement in terms of mindset and action, and we are still behind on many things.
Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
People can contact me or schedule a call with me using my Instagram account, @withfabioconceicao, which contains all of my links in the bio.
