It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I am the founder and C.E.O. of FamElite Asafo a culturally uplifting movement based on Afrikan principals on a mission to unapologetically reclaim control over our very own creative media outlets. As an entertainment company and artist development rights of passage, we are creating new ways to educate and enlighten today’s Afrikan youth through Performance Arts and Technology.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Honestly It’s been a turbulent journey to get to where I’m at today In 2008 I was released from a 3-6 with nothing but the clothes given me by the state only to come home and find that unsurprisingly no respecable jobs were willing to hire a young man disenfranchised full of drive and self determination my most viable solution became pressing up my own cds and releasing my first independent album through my very own startup entertainment company “FamElite Asafo”
Doing this I was able to pay myself more than the market was willing to offer a young King actively fixing his crown selling an impressive amount of cds in my hometown of Pittsburgh PA before streaming became the industry model and standard I was able to gain momentum

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
To answer this question I would say I specialize in just being myself music has always been my passion ever since a very young age and I’ve dedicated many years among other things to building my brand and the legacy it will leave behind after I’m gone
In fact I came up with the spelling of my name Lhagic (Prononced Logic) to convey exactly that.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
1) Work smarter not harder
2) Remain open minded and objective
3) Stay ambitious, and innovative
4) Read books about & research your craft often
5) Never be afraid to fail even when people laugh at your dreams
6) Find your tribe and Surround yourself with like minded people
7) Learn to eat with your mouth closed
8) You can’t run from Karma
9) Be the Ocean not the Wave
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
To me success is the amassed smaller goals you achieve along the way in the fulfillment of your unique individual purpose
What’s next for you?
Just relocated to the beautiful Queen City Charlotte NC so I’m still getting settled in currently pushing my 7th studio album “King Speech” which is available on all streaming platforms while simultaneously preparing to release my next Independent Hip Hop album sometime early in 2022
