Exclusive Interview With Ken Parrish

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ken Parrish.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

Well, I have been a leader, mentor, and coach in business and my personal life for over 30 years. In the last 5 years I started in the entertainment industry. 3 years ago I left a senior level corporate position to pursue an acting career full-time. I am now Self-employed with multiple revenue streams, most notably as a SAG-AFTRA actor.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Honestly, my biggest challenge was mentally. I had to prepare myself to be able to survive as a struggling actor and entrepreneur. When you are making $200,000+ a year and you go to $40,000 it is a major adjustment- mentally.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

As an actor it is important that you understand it is a job like any other. You have to put in the work. You have to be safe, coachable, persistent, positive, and reliable. I am a Certified Life Coach, so it is with a razor like focus that I participate in my career. I pride myself on leading by example. Director’s love working with me. I leverage my many years of leadership to make their experience working with me, stress free.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

You have to be true to yourself. You should know your blind spots. Understand what are your assets and liabilities are. Leverage your assets and improve your liabilities. Everyone should be persistent in continuous improvement and personal development of themselves. People should hold themselves accountable for all their actions at a high standard.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success to me is a personal word. Each person sets goals that are relevant to and for them. In my opinion being my authentic self at every stage of life and through every experience is success to me. When I do not meet this high standard I feel it is a failure that needs course correction.

What’s next for you?

I recently started my own talent management company. As stated before, I have 3 decades of leadership experience and being a certified Life Coach has prepared me to help many other artists realize their dreams.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?

If you want to learn more about my Talent Management company go here: www.kpentertainmentgroup.com If you want to know more about my acting, find me on IMDB.COM And on social media @therealkenparrish on Instagram
