It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Aspiring hiphop artist out of Staten IsLand, NY. I got my start running around with UGOD of WuTang Clan. My brother Leathafase, also an artist…put me in position at the time. We reaLeased a compiLation aLbum thru Synergy Distribution in 2005. As a young buck then…i made some performance appearances…but never took the business seriously. A whoLe bunch of setbacks hindered my passion for music. Fast forward to now…reLeased from the penitentiary…I and my partner Michael Kawse decided to start a label…and feed the worLd my taLents
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
A whoLe bunch …from fake friends…to botched record deaL connections. See living in my environment comes with many hurdLes. Everyone wants to get out…really!. So its a constant push against making moral decisions and finding your niche’. I’m from Parkhill Ave…home of the WuTang…highLy dangerous area in Staten IsLand….so go figure.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Well…i Like to say im an Artist….not a rapper. I dispLay my art in a more reaLity based form. Depictions from my life experiences is wat drives me to tell my story. First off…im a writer. I like to create Art….expressed soLely from da souL. My sound is my sound. My content has substance. My Lyrical abiLity has effortLess fLow. I call it “reaL taLk”
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Got to keep on …keepin on. Got to keep trucking….no matta da situation. Circumstances arrive but …if the test break you …then how u gon fight the war
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success means many things on many Levels. To me success is Life. Living it out with no regret. Doing your best….no matter what…or who says….u dig. Being able to flip a coin. Of course family is number one. But success can mean money….but Legacy Lives forever
