It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is AlbySound, slowly getting recognized by my peers locally. I was putting material out for years and was always lost on how to push out.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I have always been a slow adapter to social media’s connection to the music industry. Seemed like I was always several steps behind. I was doing showcases that only your friends show up to. Which sucks because I met some talented individuals at those.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I make rap music in the space of lyrical abilities, vibe and romance. The soundscapes are trap, new age g-funk and boombap. They got the same topics and vibes but stylistically they found someone with his own sounds. Hence the name AlbySound.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Never give up, never settle for less. Know your worth and push it forward.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
It means accomplishing goals, checking boxes on the checklist.
