Jesús Eduardo Martínez Rodríguez, known as “Chune”, has managed to captivate the public with his talent as a singer and composer. Born in Caracas and raised in Puerto Píritu, Venezuela, Chune found in music a way to express his life experiences from an early age.
From his early days writing lyrics inspired by his family roots and personal experiences, Chune demonstrated an innate talent for composing moving and catchy songs. His debut as a composer in 2016 with the song “Que Te Enamores”, performed by the Italian singer Davide, reached number 1 in Venezuela, Italy and Europe, opening the doors for his foray into the international music scene.
As a composer, Chune has worked on songs that have become hits throughout Latin America, such as Nakary’s “Sin Tabú” and Kobi Cantillo’s “Oye Oye,” demonstrating his versatility and ability to create music that resonates with audiences. His song “Trabajo”, performed by Mabel Yeah, even became among the 40 most listened to songs in Spain.
