Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexander Aperture.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I began film production as a hobby. I would film projects for fun with artists on the record label I was apart of. I noticed I was becoming pretty good at it when people wanted to hire me. That’s when I decided to make it a business.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
I have been faced with many challenges throughout my journey. Before I had a vehicle of my own I would use public transportation to travel to my shoots. Using the convenience of uber has decreased my profit dramatically several times before my rates were high as they are now. I’ve had equipment stolen and damaged. I’ve sent shooters out on my behalf and they’ve dropped the ball. Working with limited wifi will really slow you down.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I specialize in video production. I produce commercial content generally placed on websites and social media. My average project is 60 seconds or less allowing clients the ability to promote their content via sponsored ads. My videos help clients take their brand to a new level and increase sales.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
The best advice I have is to stay consistent. Failure is not a bad thing when we learn from our mistakes. The more we practice something the better we will get especially if it’s your passion. The boost of motivation you will receive when others notice your growth will only drive you to go harder.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success is the achievement of a goal. We achieve goals everyday. Some goals are short term some are long term. Your 1st client is a success just as your 1000th client is. Every time I succeed at creating content that moves someone I have succeeded.
What’s next for you?
I have a created a platform called BookAShooter.com that will be a community of videographers, photographers, etc. available for booking in all major cities. My passion for creating music and videos has led to my next upcoming EP titled “More Than A Shooter” coming soon.
